One day, seemingly out of nowhere, our two cuddly, affectionate indoor cats (same litter) suddenly exhibited very aggressive behaviour toward each other. The fur was flying and we didn’t know what had precipitated it.
I called Kristiina for help. Talking over the feline events leading up to it, Kristiina thought that the misplaced aggression had its root in either one of the cats being sick or injured, or from that poor bird that flew into the window and remained just within the cats’ view.
Kristiina recommended separating the cats for a week and installing simple and affordable pheromone diffusers in the cat’s areas. (We also got pheromone collars for them.) We had the cat that was not the aggressor checked by the vet and, sure enough, he had a slight injury that we hadn’t noticed. It took about three weeks, but we were able to reintroduce the cats successfully.
Kristiina put me at ease with her knowledge and experience and easy manner. I wish she worked with humans, too!
